Flora Ripp

Flora Ripp, M.A., LPC

Through a warm and gentle approach, I create space for clients to unpack whatever is troubling them with patience and support. Often “symptoms” are a function of being stuck or at odds with ourselves and others, or from painfully re-living past events. After addressing the most pressing problems and identifying key triggers, we then turn to the underlying internal conflicts or relational patterns. By healing these conflicts, clients come to better understand themselves and live more peacefully in the here and now. In a word, they become more authentic!

I draw upon psychodynamic psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems, Somatic Experiencing, depth and transpersonal psychologies to bring overlooked aspects of a problem to the surface. The body is a tremendous resource in treatment, so I often pay close attention to how my clients feel in their bodies. Our sessions may also include EMDR, Brainspotting, mindfulness, and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) which are all wonderful tools to help work through trauma, anxiety, depression and other concerns.

I provide psychotherapy to late teens, adults, and couples and offer both in person and telehealth appointments. My specialties are in the treatment of trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship wounds, significant transitions, spiritual development and integration, ADHD, and postpartum challenges. It is my goal to help you find greater joy, inner ease, and flow in your life. If you are ready to work on yourself, let’s talk!
