John O'Donnell, Ph.D.
John O’Donnell is a licensed psychologist with 46 years of professional experience providing adult services in clinical and counseling psychology and behavioral medicine. He has a specialty focus and specialized training in the following subset areas: health psychology, men’s issues, couples counseling, post-traumatic stress disorder, specialized anxiety treatment, hypnotherapy, psychodrama, and grief management. He also conducts seminars, workshops, and group psychotherapy classes for couples, individuals, and organizations around a number of topics including: "Improving Relationship and Communication Skills" (for couples and/or families), "Stress Management", "Finding the True Self: How to Finally Grow Up!", and "Psychodrama as an Alternate or Adjunct to Talk Therapy." John 's psychotherapeutic orientation is eclectic with a strong behavioral, Jungian, and family systems emphasis. He is certified in clinical hypnosis and is an Approved Consultant with the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis. He is trained in psychodrama and uses experiential process work as part of his psychotherapy practice.
