Robert Lueger, Ph.D.
I am a clinical psychologist and am licensed to practice as a psychologist in Wisconsin. With over 30 years of professional experience that has involved clinical practice, teaching and research, I have a deep confidence in the potential of psychotherapy and counseling to help individuals, couples and families. Whether the treatment goals are to reduce symptoms, improve interpersonal or work role functioning, increase well-being, or find personal meaning, the essential basis for positive change is a good treatment plan tailored to the goals of the participants, a good working relationship with a counselor, and useful feedback on progress toward the treatment goals.
My approach is interpersonal and draws on analytic, cognitive-behavioral, and affective therapies that have been established through empirical studies to be effective treatments that work. I work with adults and older adolescents, and will see families.
